Safe Space: This is essentially about a social contract between Ed Home, parents/carers and children.

In order for Ed Home to provide an enjoyable and safe club environment for your child to thrive, there will need to be a joint effort.

  • Carers and children are to be respectful at all times. Ed Home will not condescend you by detailing the meaning of respectable behaviour. However, any unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated; the policy will be zero tolerance and therefore you or your child will not be permitted to attend any further sessions.

  • Carers are not permitted in the sessions; however, they should remain available as children will need to be escorted to the toilets where necessary.

  • Your child will be in the capable hands of a fully trained professional who is ‘enhanced DBS checked.’

  • Ed Home will require the contact number of the responsible adult on the day who should ensure they are able to respond to any alerts instantly.

  • Please do not bring children along to sessions if they are at all showing any symptoms of being unwell, or have recently recovered from something contagious or are currently under treatment for something contagious.

Although all the clubs are restricted to age 7-14 years Ed-Home understands that parents may have children who do not fit within this age bracket and may therefore need to travel along to the session although they are not permitted to partake. For that very reason Ed Home has deliberately selected venues with library facilities, cafes or playgrounds; so do take advantage. Details of which amenities are available at each club are shown in the respective club tab on this website.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping Ed Home clubs safe and respectful.
